Feeling Down? 52 Inspiring Quotes to Get Out of Your Slump

“The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness.” ~Abraham Maslow   Thanks to Eckhart Tolle and his introduction to The Power of Now, one of the most important lesson I have learned is to always be aware of my thoughts.   This is what ‘being in the now’ means. It means being an observer of your thoughts. Rather than let your thoughts control you.   It’s to not get caught up with your mind chatter. Especially the ones that are making you feel bad or causing you to feel stress or anxious because you have decided to time travel to the past or the future.   When you notice whatever you are thinking is bringing you down. It’s time pause and bring yourself back to the present. This is what being in the now means. To be aware of your thoughts. And deliberately choosing to take responsibility for your life.   As Eckart Tolle teaches, you can   1. Remove yourself from the situation 2. Change it. Or 3. Accept it completely.   So here are 52 inspiring quotes to get out of your slump.  Back in focus.   Back to the present so that you can find peace in the now.   Enjoy!
